How does GivingScene handle payment processing?

GivingScene doesn't process payments directly. Instead, we integrate with your existing payment processor (PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.Net, or Square). This means you keep your existing payment relationships and don't pay any additional transaction fees to us.

What payment gateways do you support?

We support PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.Net, and Square. You connect your own payment processor account, so all donations go directly to your organization. GivingScene charges no transaction fees on donations.

Can I customize the appearance of my campaign scene?

Yes! The Basic plan includes preset scenes and decorations. Deluxe and Unlimited plans allow you to upload custom images for both scene backgrounds and decorations to match your branding.

How do donors interact with the campaign scene?

Donors visit your campaign page where they can see the scene. They select a decoration representing their donation amount, drag it onto the scene, add an optional personal message, and complete their payment through your payment processor.

How does team management work?

Admins can invite team members and assign roles with specific permissions. Admins have full access, Payment Managers handle campaigns and payment configurations, and Campaign Managers focus on creating and running campaigns. Role limits vary by plan.

Can donors leave personal messages?

Yes! Donors can include a personal message with their decoration, add a certificate name, or dedicate their donation in memory or in honor of someone. Campaigns can also allow anonymous giving.

Is there a limit to how many donations I can receive?

No, there's no limit to the number of donations you can receive on any plan. The plan tiers limit the number of campaigns you can create, not the donations per campaign.

Do you charge processing fees on donations?

No. GivingScene charges no transaction fees on donations. You only pay your subscription fee and any fees charged by your own payment processor.
